killer man!
I dig the tank...maybe a darker color to flow with the rest of the "blackness"
of the bike or whatever...it's your bike.
but really dig the direction.
Rene is killer, such a rad dude and I'm about to have him do the same to my wassell.

keep it up man...you're gonna stand out in crowd..and that's what we're all going for right?!?!?

How's your rear fender mounted? Is that just stock rear fender trimmed? I think I'm gonna go with that seat and I like how your fender looks.

It is a stockfender trimmed down, its mounted in three points, one to the stock tab off the frame by where the fuses are, I then drilled and tapped the inside of the shock mount bolt and mounted the fender with a 3/8 bolt on the inside of the shock mount.

nice job. I'd be interested to see how it looked with a set of special 79s tv-bars on it. Love those bars, just gotta get rid of the stock custom tank on my sporty before i can do it. wide tank, narrow bars, not good.

I'm not really into those kind of bars, I got rene at mercurymoto making me some super narrow mini apes, similar to the ones on this bike

New Bars and exhaust

got my handlebars from mercurymoto, I got to say that I couldn't have asked for a better set of bars. 10 inch rise, 5 inch pullback, stainless steel. Still going to trim a few inches off the ends. Also some high n tights from spitfire, they're cool, but I'm not sold on them. Front end is off cuz I'm STILL waiting on some trees from acme. But here's some pics anyways.

It's getting there, little by little.

Why aren't you sold on the Spitfire pipes? I ask because that's what I am eying for my bike.

I'm not sold on them cuz I also going to be doing alot of performance mods on the motor, but at the same time I want my bike to look how I want it too, so Just trying to meet myself in the middle. I'll let you know if I don't go with the high n tights

I like the look of the pipes but do they have any mounting points other than the motor?

Allow me to jump in...Yes, they mount off one of the bolts that holds the cam cover and to each other. Difficult to explain without a pic, but actually very sturdy and ingenious. I had a set on my ironhead. Paul @ Spitfire is a stand-up guy.

Bike is looking good by the way.

I like the direction your going, that style was what I was 1st going for, then changed it up a bit. Here is a pic of my bike with the high -n -tight pipes which I must say are very nice performace wise and looks. paul at Spitfire is a rad dude. Note I have a new seat on there now, got one of the old gold solo seats from Dan Collins via Lowbrow. Sorry its a bad pic....

I love the Wassel, But I think it needs to be moved forward about an inch or so, so it's more centered on the backbone.

if i owned this thing would put some funky zombie performance bars on there, then throw a gnarly brat style rear fender on it. I dig that japanese style too. burlys would look cool with a brat fender as well.

Thanks for the comments, I'm not really into the funky bar thing, I like the classic simple look. I love the bratsyle bike too. I've thrown around some ideas about trying to drop seat the frame but keep the swingarm, give it more of a shovel frame angle, also thinking of doing something different with the oil tank. We will see. Any ideas or examples would be nice.
