Can't stand the stuff myself, only on a race bike for a genuine purpose besides covering up shitty work.

I am building this to the best of my abilities and will not except a big f-up right on my headpipe that I spent way too much time fabbing. They agreed to rechrome it, it just sets me back some fab and driving time.

The rest of the chrome came out really nice so I won't slam the chrome shop, shit happens...

I've probably spent more $ on sandpaper, buffing wheels and compound than what it would take to send it out, fuck it, at least I have the aluminum poisoning experience to show for it:

I really wish I had a kid so I could teach him/her how to polish:

Engine in the frame, I guess this is some sort of milestone, won't be long now:

I have also been watching since you 1st posted- I just don't say much. Really like your build- I'm also working on a '67 t100. Started out as a c, but I've had to steal so many parts from another motor I had that I think it's closer to a daytona now. I've been working on mine for over a year, and haven't even started a build thread, yet, so can't blame you for not posting more often. I keep saying I'm going to get my son to help me start a thread, but I'd rather be in the garage or lurking on here! I'm hoping to get mine on the road, still, before the snow flies; but these projects can be more than a little unpredictable! Keep up the good work!
