You can sell it for $3,500 and still make onough money to justify the time spent?

sick bobber man, love that seat, on question, did you do anything to lower the front forks, other than sliding them up? and one more, hows turning with the the low stance of the bike, any rubbing or difficulty in sharp curves?

I cut about a inch or so off the inner fork tubes and raised them past the trees to accept the clip ons. Turning takes a little getting use to but not bad. Mainly because of the fat ass tank with the clip ons makes your turning radius a little less.

Pretty bad ass looking. The clip-ons really make the whole bike. I think VStars are gonna be the big thing years from now, kinda like the CB750 and XS650 are now. They lend themselves to customization in many styles, sound, great, and they're damn dependable.

Bike looks great man! Its been my inspiration to do a build of my own. Just picked up a 98 custom. Can't wait to start rippin her up. I was wondering did you do the j-slam on the bike? Also is that seat from biltwel? I'm having the hardest time finding a nice low profile seat like that, not to mention the seat mounting bracket.

Thanks bro. Yeah j slam, chopped front inner fork tubes about an inch or so. Biltwell slimline seat. You will have to make custom mounting.

Ya figured custom seat mounting bracket was in my near future. Thank god for that buddy who owns a custom car shop. I read u made a custom fender, I've been lookin at some of the 7metalwest products, quality looks great especially for the price. Thought about just cuttin my front fender in half and goin wit that. Is yours mounted just on swingarm, or is there a lower bracket as well. I def wanna go wit the strutless look.

Yeah 7metalwest makes good quality stuff. Mine is actually a custom chrome blank I cut and shaped. Yeah I made a bracket that bolts to the fender and bolts to the swingarm bolt. I wouldn't go any longer on the fender with out using struts. If you keep it short you should be alright.
