If more seat time in front of a computer makes you better than me... I guess you are. I'd rather be turning wrenches in the shop or bangin gears. Internet is what i do when I'm bored and it's raining. To keep on topic. I thought it was pretty cool passing off the lid all across the country. But putting it in a box and shipping was lame. There's always a way to get things done if you really wanna do it . So to me shipping it just seemed like an "easy" option. If you weren't up for the job you never should have accepted it. If you shipped it because somebody else flaked out on you. I guess that's cool. To the ones that made the miles and did what they said they would, much respects. Just seemed like some of the participants only wanted to be seen as "special" for having the lid and didn't really care about getting it from point A to point B. Just my thoughts on it. Over all a real cool idea and cool thread.Comment

Upon further thought - I'd be willing to spring for a lid to get something going again.....but we gotta be honest about it, there were things about the last BOTTL that worked, and some that didn't...we would need to get that hashed out before handComment

Personally, I dont think Id like to see a version 2. The first one was cool and by continuing with a new helmet kinda makes the first one less awesome. Sorta how most sequels suck in movies. Having said that, id still rock the second one if it happens.Comment

The Saga has Ended
Hey bros, the lid has been retired and has made it to it's final resting place at Biltwell HQ where it will be enshrined in a shadow box and be in peace for the rest of eternity. Thanks so much to everyone who participated in this adventure.
If anyone wants to fire up another thread for Brotherhood of the Traveling Vest, we'd be happy to support it.
P.S. I still have about 20 patches left.Comment
