    Multimeter question?

    Can someone tell my where to set the dial on my multimeter to test my rotor on my 79xs? I know dumb question but this electrical stuff is pretty new to me.

    You need to set it to the OHM setting. I believe set it to the 200 mark. Mine is autoranging so I can't tell you for sure.

      Yes you need to set it on ohms, ohms measures resistance between the black probe and the red probe, Your gonna want to touch the red and black probe together and make sure that they read 0.00 if not then minus whatever they read from what you get when you test your rotor, you want you meter set on hundreths, so it would be 200 on yours, put the probes on the two rings and you want it to read about 5-7 ohms anything else you might wanna try and source a new one, hope it helps
