          Thanks!! The silver flake was the first coat to go down. I just used the original black paint as the base. The black base makes the flake pop more.

                            I let it dry for a week before sanding. I started with 400 grit to get it pretty smooth, then switched to 800 to get it completely smooth. I then sanded it with 1500 to finish up. I used polishing compound with an old sock, by hand, to make it shine.
