It has been a while, worked heavily on a buddy's project, started putting together another project, and got back to this...

So I cut off the front end and got rid of the 40 degree rake, and brought it to a more managable 29 deg. I have a few sporty front ends laying around and decided to put them to use. A few purists may get upset with me for cutting up the frame, but.... It wasn't my style either. I'm not a huge fan of long bikes myself. I also have to make do with what I have. On a budget

I think it is coming along well and I'm happier with the look, I feel like it has more of the late 60's style, then the mid 70's long bike

Still have a ton to do, but making progress.
-mount tank
-mount fender
-electronics
-front brake cable
-rear brake linkage
-oil lines

Enjoy

looking really good. I like the changes you've made to the exhaust and the front end. Really headed in the right direction! Keep it up!

The De-raking on the frame gives it a nice stance

I wanted to try a frisco'd p-nut on it, waiting for (Luke) to ship it or refund my payment. Not sure how it will roll, I keep thinking of the harbor town bobber.... I love that bike.

Anyone deal with Lucas Landers? It's been 2 weeks and hasn't been shipped?

If you want to powder coat those fork sliders, I can hook you up. I think they'd look good in black.

Motherfucker is bitchin' though. I like it.

Thanks for the response I will get some pics up tonight to with the some more stuff done.

I'm thinking I'm going to try getting the forks polished up, but... I do have 2 more sets, and one I would like to get powder coated! Drop me a msg if you can about pricing, I also have a couple rims and hubs that I would like coated.

Alright she is 99.9% done
I've put about 15 miles on her:
Issues:
Racing motor between shifts
Assuming running lean, tonight will makes sure there are no air leaks.

The last thing I want to do is get an inline filter on to get a little extra oil volume and get the crud out...

I have to shout out to a few guys the helped with parts:
Chico (velo stacks), lakewoodkid2 (heads, and the triumph exhaust and starburst), TC Christensen of Hogslayer Fame(push rods), Morrie's in Richmond Ill. (Clutch), Rider728 (front end)
troyfab (rear spacer and tensioner), trumpnut (cables), lowbrow (Light I think? Sparx Stator, and Regulator)
7metalwest (for the alum rear fender)
, FMW (Axle adjusters, ignition, kick stand spring, and a few other things I can't remember)

Thanks Guys! I really appreciate it!

J

Thanks Chico, I may have a line on one actually two. There are 2 at the Norton shop here in town 1 is chopper material, the other a more classic state. I'm suppose to swing by on sat. I'll ask him what he wants.
