Saddle Bag Alternatives??

I am going for weekend road trip and I am looking for a better way to stash some gear on the whip with out some boring ass saddle bags. Anyone have any ideas to pack some shit to a small ass bobber. Pics would be sick too.

Cheap and quick; hit up your local military supply store for some older gear bags and packs.

Yeah like Mlee stated military surplus stores. ALOT of the packs belts etc. have some sort of integrated system(MOLLE, ALICE, etc.) for attaching various pieces. And the great standby a backpack. The decent ones have some sort of wicking material to wick moisture away. OR DUCT TAPE AND GARBAGE BAGS! LOL

I use an Army issue butt pack. It has straps to cinch the load down tight depending on how much is in there. It has room for a few tools and at least one change of clothes.

I wear a back pack a lot of time to go back and forth to work but I hate it.

I've been getting used to strapping bags/tents to my bars due to lack-of rear fender. Get's me thinking, if I need to, a plastic milk crate might be fashionable... E.T style bitches!

Compression sacks and a book bag.

You can get some pretty inexpensive compression sacks at the local Wally World. They work great and gets everything into a nice bundle that can easily be strapped to a fender or handlebars.

Ammo cans man. They come in a bunch of sizes and they're cheap! I just welded tabs on my frame rails and mounted two 40mm grenade cans on my bike. Ill try and get some pics when I get home.

+1 here. I have saddle bags and a fender rack but also use the compression bag. Everything stays nice and dry in the compression bag plus it is quick to put on and take off and carry with the handle.
