Mile Higher Run - Weekend of Love Thy Chopper in Denver

July 17th and 18th... yes, next weekend... Chopper Run to finish off the chop filled weekend in Denver. Dice Party on Friday night(15th), Love Thy Chopper all day saturday(16th), then this run Sunday and Monday to end it all.
Ride out Sunday, 250-300 miles in the Rockies, through Rocky Mountain National Park and hitting both sides of the Continental Divide. Camp out on Sunday night at an isolated spot out in the sticks, far enough away from the authorities hopefully. Then ride back early Monday.

This run is being incorporated into this weekend with the idea of getting more and more people into the Denver area for the Love Thy Chopper Weekend, year after year. LTC is getting bigger and better each year, this run will be an added bonus for years to come hopefully.

Short run on a short notice, but if you're gonna be in the area, make it on this Run, it'll be worth it.

CHOPPER RUN - leave your H.O.G. patches at home.

Took a ride today out to the camping spot for the run next sunday. This spot is perfect, it's back in the sticks and it's free. Fire-pits and plenty of space. It's not very far from Denver either, for those of you from the area who want to come along and need to get back that night or early monday morning.

Should be a blast...

Denver, up through Rocky Mountain National Park, and along both sides of the continental divide. Almost all on two lane back-roads. Camping spot is about 30 - 40 minutes from Denver, it's way back in the backwoods, fires are allowed in pits, and camping is free. Cruised up there today, couldn't have been a better spot for this.

No invitation needed, just a bike and your camping gear...
