Nov. 4-5, 2011: Slab City Riot 3—Niland, CA Salton Sea

I have wanted to see the slab city/ salton sea area for years so I guess this is a great chance to also involve my passion for motorcycles in the mix. I am coming from Cleveland and plan on renting a bike in riverside and riding out from there. The only dealership in that area I found was Skip Fordyce. I have never rented a bike and was wondering how ridiculous they are about the whole process, I looked it all up and the only real qualm that I have is a $2000 deposit up front but so it goes. Other than that it all seems pretty easy, what are some of your guys experiences if any? Also if anyone wants to roll with me from riverside that would be great, I am thinking about doing it in style and getting a bagger. I mean being from out of town and all I don't want to have to rely on anyone else to carry my beer!

The Bikes are all running well! I just want a chase truck filled with beer and amenities because I am lazy and spoiled!
I rolled up a blanket and a backpack last year. But, last year I ran out of booze by 10pm and passed out(mostly drunk)by 12. That will not happen this year. I want to bring a caravan of shit in the car that's following me!
I will be sure to charge up the tazer before I leave!!!!
