Nov. 4-5, 2011: Slab City Riot 3—Niland, CA Salton Sea

    CHOPCULT,SLAB CITY RIOT,SALTON SEA,CHOPPERS,BILTWELL,BOBBERS,TRIUMPH,HARLEY-DAVIDSON,PAUL TUETUL SR.

The Event: Slab City Riot 3
The Time: Friday November 4 & Saturday November 5, 2011
The Place: The Range at Slab City, Niland, CA (near the shores of the beautiful Salton Sea)
    The Cause: 'Cause it's fun!
    The Perks:
    • Free camping
    • Tasty, affordable food Friday night through Sunday morning (mmmm—coffee!)
    • Whiskey bar and free beer while supplies last (You motherscratchers can drink!)
    • The Cocktagon ($10 entry fee, winner take all—same rules as last year apply)
    • The Fire Pit
    • Saturday night rock 'n roll with three bands TBD
    • Friday Night Drive-In (Salt Ghost, Two Wheel Terrors, Teenaged Chopper Junkies From Hell, that sort of thing)

In two short years the SCR has become one of the premier no-frills chopper events on the calendar. We promise very little and ask even less, and that's what makes the SCR unique. Last November approximately 1,500 bikeriders and hellraisers converged on Slab City to mix and mingle with the locals in a fiery inferno of music, motorcycles and mayhem. With this year's Slab City Riot stretching to two days, the good times are going to double.

Please spread the word on your Facebook page, and invite all your CC friends.

Here's a link to the microsite

Since the first battle-weary vet returning from WWII bobbed his Hog and hit the highway for a mental reset, hard-core fans of "the biker lifestyle" (whatever that means) have followed roads less traveled to destinations unknown in search of fun on two wheels. Sometime after "Easy Rider" whisked freedom and the counter-

FYI, we also accept donations for merch (hats, shirts, stickers, other similarly soft and lightweight items)

Yours truly will personally toss these items from the stage between DVD's and bands to keep things lively, and every company or person who donates merch will receive the undying gratitude of SCR3 audience members.

    Please ship donations to:

Thanks again to everyone for their generous support!

Might be the one and only event I make it to this year. This is my deadline for the Ironhead.

Awesome! Thanks, in advance, to everyone who makes this event possible!
I had a great time last year and I'm looking forward to this year's event.

@CRFyou - Don't let anyone make fun of you for being Cocktagon-curious! We've all been there.

                    MORE WOOD ON THE PILE:

                    Our good friends at:

                    Old Gold Garage Co.

                    Fast Lane Tattoos
                    Loser Machine Co.

Are the latest to join the list of proud sponsors for this November's Slab City Riot.

Thanks, gentlemen for all your support.

We also just ordered 24 of these:

                    CHOPCULT,SLAB CITY RIOT,SALTON SEA,CHOPPERS,BILTWELL,BOBBERS,TRIUMPH,HARLEY-DAVIDSON,PAUL TUETUL SR.

The deal for this year's Coctagon will be a little different than 2010:

                    • Same rules (no dead end blows, must wear helmet, you can't drop your bat, you can't step out of the coctagon)
                    • 10 minute time limit
                    • winner take all

Last year I had to BEG 15 dudes to sack up for the 3-minute hell ride. Not this year.

the entry fee is $10 per man, and winner takes all. I expect to sell out of Wiffle Ball bats in a matter of minutes.

If we reach the 24-man limit, Biltwell will sweeten the pot with another $260. That's $500 for the last man standing!

If we fall short of the 24-man limit, the purse will be 100% payback. We're doing this to motivate more players to step up.

Here's what last year's Coctagon looked like:

If that doesn't look like fun, you wouldn't know a good time if it hit you in the face with a yellow bat.

Dr. Coctagon is CC member Kevin Moore, and he can attest to the radness of this event.

                    Good luck and have fun!

I'll be there from NorCal. Anbody coming from the north heading down let me know. Rain, snow, sleet or hail i'll be there. Probably leave Redding the day before. It's a solid 9 hour ride to Temecula without taking the scenic route.
