    My tank update

Krylon glitter blast and 2k clear. Have blue and purple metalcast to go over.

This thread and forum in general has been a great inspiration so far!

    Cheers

Here are the process photos, and the finished product.

Silver flash glitter blast base, duplicolor metalcast candy coats.

I'm happy for my first go at it. I know I can improve my process for the future.

I used dupli color "flame red." Seemed appropriate

Has anyone used a matte clear coat or gas resistant matte paint?

I see that people have cleared over all sorts of stuff like decals & stickers etc.
Got me thinking, how is the Spraymax 2K over overtop of stickers, permanent marker & those little paint containers of model car enamel paints?
I realize its kind of a funny question but someones got to ask. I got a sweet pinup sticker I was thinking of using. If i were to try and draw a pinup from scratch she'll look like a children's cartoon. I could carry permanent marker over the tank for some striping for a 'hand sketched look' and carry it into the decal to tie it all together.
The model car enamel paint, well i just had some neat colors around and was wondering whether i could use it to add trim and stripe shadowing. Thoughts?

                          thanks guys

stickers under clear no problem. permanent maker NO. I am not sure why but clear coat and permanent marker do not get along. makes the marker look like it ran.

Anyone try clear over Enamel Paint, like the 'Model Master' stuff you buy at a Hobby lobby for model cars?
