Once the sun hits the flakes it looks really good.

On my next paintjob I will however do it differently since I'd like to do something with bigger flakes.

NOT EXACTLY WHAT YOU WHERE THINKING BUT RATTLE CANS ARE FUN.... FTW

thats nice

VHT metallic gold engine paint, no clear, it's got a metallic suede vibe. Basic but tough as nails and doesn't give a shit if gas gets on it.

Lil Roth paint.

Here's my not yet finished first try semi-serious experiment with painting and wet sanding. I've lived a life of primer and rust...

First coats of clear. Yikes!



After a few hours of wet sanding, it's fairly smooth. I'm deciding on other stuff to do to it:

Google map "auto paint supply". First time I bought it I paid something like $20 for shipping (hazardous material). Happened to google it next time and found 2 places that sold it locally. It is in Chicago, so idk if you'll have any luck where you are, but worth a shot.

Ps after looking through this I have to say. I fucking hate you artistic and extremely talented people. You go through life making mutton heads like me look like shit with your fancy abilities. I do well enough on that on my own so you people are like sticking the extra knife in my back and hitting me with a 10 second burst from a nuclear powered flame thrower.

I guess I'll have to just make the most of my skillz which is limited to basically just standing around looking stupid. I do that REALLY well though. So if someone wants to start a thread where we show off our standing around looking stupid talents. I am down and will make you all envious.
