Hey Tokes! An Oldtimer told me this trick yesterday!....I used a chopstick...made marks...filed/polished points....set gaps to .015
with feeler gauge! Went to TDC right side (1st mark on chopstick) rotated crank back 7/16"(2nd mark on chopstick)
then....rotated timing plate til the right side points sparked....tightened it down and.....BANG I just got off my 67 bonnie ripping it through the desert!!! This worked BITCHIN!!! The bike has never run better!!!
