    1974 Kawasaki W3 650 project...

Will be picking this up soon I think. I'm working on trades and cash deal with dude for some welding and fab work he needs done.

It's ugly as shit. Stuck solid. Was in a field for 25 years, but I think I can bring her back to life. We'll see.

It's basically an A10 BSA for those who don't know, but with slightly different borexstroke specs.

very nice. My buddy is working on three W1's at teh moment. Two are hardtailed (one a triumph section the other a xs650 section) and the third is a stock resto. I love these bikes, such a good idea on the park of kawi to buy this design and make it reliable!

              Picked it up finally.

Perfect subframe just asking for pie cuts and hard tailing.

Upon furter inspection I have found that the subframe rails and cradle rails are the same spacing apart....which is the same as stock swingarm width.

It couldn't be easier to hardtail.

Almost like its asking for it.

                            Slow updates, sorry.

I have been working on my GSXR project, but I gave this little lady some love the last two days.

Started pulling it apart for a rebuild. Been putting PB Blaster, diesel, etc. in the cylinders.

As I get to the primary setup I think "Eh, give it a shot" so I grab a bar and a 22mm socket for the output bolt.

Get on it, push.... push.... push.... . WHAM! BURP!!!! Oil out the plug holes like an explosion. Trans moved too, so not stuck anymore. haha

Has a healthy cough, so tomorrow after I clean the garage up and get the oil soaked, I'll check compression and do a leakdown test. Here's to hoping it's good!
