So many good sportys. I have mine partially torn apart right now, shaving the front fender mounts of the forks, when I get done, and maybe if I take the time to clean it, I'll take some new pictures and post them up.

My off again, on again build:

99 Buell S1 motor with Thunderstorm heads, original 18 over Harman front end, VTwin rigid frame 2 up, 2 out 40 deg.

It's on again, now using a 21 Invader front wheel with Hurst-Airheat dic brake.

crappy pic... but my '67 sporty...
XLH kick/electric, CH short frame, 4 over forks, mag, high compression, hot cams, lots of ground clearance.

built in '70 by a guy in Montana, completely rebuilt in 1977 then put in the back bedroom of his house for the winter.
the guy had major health issues and was never able to ride again. bike sat under a quilt for 30 years. came with every receipt and very well documented details about the build, and the guy's plans for the bike. his hand-written notes are awesome, but a bit depressing as his writing became worse and worse, eventually near illegible as his health failed him.

when it came home with me, i pulled it all apart. everything is in perfect condition, except the fork seals. came with boxes of spares, including a turtle tank, another complete mag, carbs, cams, more goodies.

crappy pic, the day i rolled it off the truck and into the garage:

it's currently apart, on a diet, getting the skinny lane-splitter treatment. it's a project with my daughter, who despite being 3 1/2 years old, is already a gear head (score 1 for dad)

well i've uploaded the same couple of pictures of my ol' ironhead in a couple of spots here already. here are a couple from last weekend, when i rolled it outside for the first time in a long time.

it's my first time building a bike for myself, and nobody but myself. the tank was an Aermacchi Sprint tank that i axed and frisco'd, oil bag was a king from bung king. i just wanted to try my hand at building everything, (and i mean everything, except the bars) to my liking.

enough babbling. onto crappy cell phone pics

by that second picture, i think i need some 2" over fork tubes

Not sure if this counts since it was originally a 95 Buell S2, but it's still a sporty 1200 motor:

Couple shots of the Ironhead. Stock frame cut to shit, home made 2-1 with a screamin eagle muffler, oil tank was an old lawn mower gas tank. Cut the end off and welded it back up so the electrics are hidden inside. One wingnut access and it still looks cool. Lotta other stuff. It's tiny now. Pretty fun.
