work and weather has prevented me from working on the bike until this weekend. Because I don't have a garage I have to wait for monsoon rains to subside before doing any work...
Chopped the tail off today, put shorty shocks on (dropped it about 3"). Yanked the forks out and i will be draining/chopping those tomorrow if the rain holds..
I think I look like a gorilla fucking a soccer ball on the thing with the mid controls. I will try to address that later..

Made a box for all of the electric shit that will sit right below the seat. Also cut off and ground down a bunch of mounts
Took the forks apart to lower them
also made some plates to cover the holes in the frame from the tail chop..hopefully more updates this week..Last edited by zero; 08-27-2014, 4:27 PM.Comment

Not really. I ordered a new fuse box from Eastern Beaver and had it shipped to my parents house. The thing was delivered after a month and whoever signed for the package lost it...so i am out $90 and I don't have a fuse box..painted the lower legs and i am trying to find time to get over there to do some more work..maybe this week sometime..Comment

This project has stalled for now. I haven't had the time or money or location to work on it. I picked up a Yamaha xj650 that I have been cheaply turning into a cafe racer in my brother-in-laws garage. As soon as that is finished and out I will drag this carcass out and over there to start working on it again.
Link to the cafe pics if anyone cares..
