    Default '77 Ironhead basketcase

Just bought a Ironhead but the top end is seized up and I am trying to brake the pistons loose. Any one know where to get a good top end rebuild kit or any chop cult members that bore the jugs and fit the pistons? thanks

Best bet find a good shop around you and have them bore the jugs and find the right pistons. Any auto machine shop can do your heads.

look on e bay under ironhead sportster, there are top ends all day long in the 200-300 with heads and just the juggies pistons and so forth for a bit less. But Id spray them suckers down with some PB blaster and get the jugs and pistons off, see where you are at on the bore. Who knows you may be able to go one up on the piston size and be good to go ? It happens.
