New deathtrap..

Since I just got back my drivinglicense(car) Ive been working on my dailydriver, fun car and dune buggy but now I have finally got a little qualitytime with some of the junk I got laying in the garage..

Started with this idea some time ago

Went to my work tonight with this pile

Started with making the downtube with motormounts

Then noticed that without the old bearing"paths" the girderbearings was a perfect match!

Threw it on the floor to measure a bit and see what had to be cut and done where

Reversed the girderbrackets, alot meaner now..

Still some work to do but a few more nights in the garage and it will be a mean little SOB that will run like hell! The engine is a Jawa 350cc and the frame parts are from a Zündapp 200cc 1950. Girder is from a -50s Husqvarna and I will use a seat from a junkpile out in the woods. Will be kept this raw and dirty, I like it when people are wondering if the bike will even work and then it runs like hell

Been in the garage another 2 hours or so..

Started by making a seatpost, kinda, and welded i to the downtube

Testfitted the engine and the neck section, pretty good proportions compared to the other frame I tried to toss this engine into

Made the bolt on area from squaretube, dont think it will bother the eye too much since its pretty square in the neck.. Of course I welded it and smoothened the egdes but somehow I forgot to take any pics of that.. Damn

I have started making the bolt on parts for the hardtail too but Im not done with that.. Starting to get a feel for the stance of the thing

This is the seat Im gonna use, found in a burnt scrap pile in the woods.. Got built in suspension that I have got working and I got new springs for it at home..

Will see if I get any more time for it tomorrow

Been at it some more tonight, and the bike kinda went its own way.. Kinda like an old dragbike or something
Started with making the top bolt on hardtail attachment, wish I had a TIG

Trying out the hardtailsection with wheels in place

Lower attachmentpoints for the hardtail

Sorta finished frame, in a way

Looooong and low

Just because Im a lazy fuck Im gonna use this old dirtbike footrests on this one

The handlebar

Narrowed, still more work to do

Except for the wheels out of place it looks straight

Time to say nighteynight...
