How well do you even know these people? If you can't pull the sick routine maybe hit the wedding, get a pic of you there, have someone else take the gift to the reception and bail right after the ceremony...? Weddings blow and if the groom is a homie he'd understand, if it's family you gotta have the wife as a partner-in-crime and cover for you.

You're welcome to get here a day early and sleep in the shade. It's quite a ways, think about seeing some of NorCal while you're here. San Fransico sucks but some dig it, the redwoods, blah blah....it's pretty endless of things you can do here. Our local area has some cool stuff for sure.

That sounds pretty cool. I think that may be the way to go. I have been to California one time, it was fucking horrible. Fort Irwin, the National Training Center right before we came to Afghanistan. They stuck us in the hot, dry desert before sending us to the mountains right before winter...smooth. Anyway, NorCal sounds a lot more interesting!

I ride through there on the way east sometimes...it sucks ass.

Make it a real trip and hit the coast line for sure. Personally I like Ft.Bragg (the civilian one) but there's lots of nice coastline.

For sure. Even if I cant bring the 62 out there (A little concerned about the moutains west of Reno and into NorCal, having manual drum brakes all the way around and all) I will find a vehicle to take. It might not be as cool but I would rather make the drive then fly, it seems like theres a lot of cool shit to see on the way there!

Shit, this just in from my buddy. He has been working his ass off (manages a part store and lost two guys) and with the threat of flooding it looks like he wont have the body work done in time. Oh well, I will find another vehicle..like I said. Not missing this.

    Default Swag

I just got a box of Biltwell / Chop Cult goodies!....7/8 grips....sweatshirts....T's....a gloss white helmet that will be pimpin' if I can get some red & blue striping done....some EDR shot glasses that might not make it to the raffle....banners & a ton of stickers to go around!

I'm also looking at 1.75 liters of Captain Morgain to pass around with dinner....courtesy of Bill....nice! With Trumpnut bringing the Sailor Jerry's, Steve bringing Don Q and Artkrhymes with the Mount Gay run we'll have a regular Pirate quality bar going. That's a lot of good rum!

Likewise, THROWBACKS got our t-shirts and bottles together, early delivery acceptable? (or you can pick up at Throwbacks Thursday!)

If you want to send stuff in so it's not in the way and you don't have to pack it in send it to -

Bottles with your stickers on them & all! We'll see just how complete that bar will be. Troop, you got multiple bottles?...nice!

I think most dudes are shipping stuff in, it'll just be easier. I'll post up the lot when I get back from the SOE in a month or so. Last year there was a ton of stuff and I think Igot pretty drunk during the raffle 'cause I was finally of duty.

I demand that while piloting the Merrimac you appear in proper uniform, Navy mitty and nothing else. Oh yeah, sailor cap, starched white.
