FUCKIN SPECTACULAR!!!! The real kicker is you can get a brand new top o' line 1000+cc for 7g's! Riding the fine line between thrills and death comes on any bike, but the thrill is a bit more visceral and the line a bit more fine on top of a sport bike. Only problem comes when you want to ride for 12-15 hours at a whack. Thats when ya gotta have that sit up position. I love chops as much as the next cat, its just different.

    Then again...I could be retarded.

Like most everybody here.. I love everything with two wheels and a motor.. sportbikes are rad and I never hate on anybodys riding choice, but its just not for me. Even on a GSXR600 I feel like I constantly have to push it.. and the bottom line is its just not worth it since both my jobs depend on my CDL... Im also not a fan of the riding position..and the older I get the less appealing it gets. Supermotos are a good compromise... my Husky SMR510 with simple mods and a slipper clutch was the shit, I miss that bike. If Honda stops fucking around and comes out with a street legal CRF450 sumo I'll be the first in line to pick one up!

    I've had a Busa (02) and a litre gixxer (05).

Loved those bikes, sold the last one last year (the gixxer).

There's a lot of dicks out there riding sportbikes who give sportbikes a bad name and never use the bikes for what they're intended for - they just cruise around the streets and every once in a while rev it up or pop a wheelie. They don't do track days and they like to extend their swingarms. But as far as the bikes themselves go, they're unreal - a true engineering marvel.

My next bike will be a Kawasaki Concours14. I've been drooling over them since the new model came out in 2008. I'd like a track bike, but that will have to wait.
