Just wanted to publicly thank Rene for all the hard work he put into my cycle this past week. He spent about 3 hours or so installing my tank, fender, and seat. Making certain that everything was perfect as if it were his own personal bike.
Being there and watching him you could legitimately tell he takes pride in the work that he does for others and I was fortunate to have him complete the work for me. To top it off it was the day before he left for vacation.
Top notch guy in my book... Thanks again and I'll try to keep you updated on the cycle Rene.

Hola, I made several pairs of the Hey Zeus bars. I know of 2 that have sold and there are still some available as far as I know. They are a very limited edition set built exclusively for Chop Cult. They're available through the CC store.
One of the owners posted a picture here in my thread. I believe there are more pics in the Sportster thread. But this is the only pic I have right now.

Interesting. Never seen/heard of anyone running them. Always thought they looked a little frightning with a piece missing out of them. Love the style though.

And those things are totally sketch!! Know how many people die every year because of Z bars? That's right, neither do I, because "the man" keeps it a secret so that you'll have to buy health insurance and corn-based ethanol!

These are made of the thickiest tubing i've seen on bars with very deep welds.
Been running them for months now and they feel stiffer than any oem or aftermarket bars i've ever put on my bike.
I like the raw metal look, so i don't plan to get them chrome plated or painted, but i'm looking for a way to keep the rust away, any idea? René?

Riton,
There's stuff like metal sealer. It's like an oil or wax. You gotta keep applying it because its mostly temporary. Or the best thing you can do is have them powdercoated CLEAR. That's the most permanent and easiest way to protect the bars.
