    Default 78 kz 650

Well as a teen, I always wanted a kz 650, couldnt afford it. I found one last week for 500 runs like a raped ape and pretty clean to boot. Now for the choppin. Im cutting the back frame tubes and lowering them and strutting it brat style solo and getting rid of the front brakes completely. im messing with he sheet metal a bit. what do you guys think. I already skinned and rewired the bike.
Bare bones and got rid of the starter set up using kick only. Im planning on riding it up to the AHC halloween partay

I dig it, the Lester style wheels always looked rad on those as well. Those bikes make the most awesome sound.

yup I agree, framus cool thing (and you'll dig this) the bike already had k&n pods and 4 into 1 and must have been tuned for it. Cause this baby has no stumble and roars through all the gears. Saved me a ton of headaches. Im diggin the hell out of it. I want to hurry up so I can ride it again. I stripped the seat covver off and am cutting up the pan now to make a quasi brat solo for it. I was gonna get some struts from wompy but after I layed it out the cut was 8. 1/2 because I lowered the seat tubes a bit. So i got to put some together.
P.S. anyone got a line on some clip-ons or where I could drum some up ?

Not sure if you can legitimately use the phrases "kz650" and "raped ape" in the same sentence?
    Nice progress though!

MB ,OH I get it, Im not the fastest tool in the shed man. Thanks,
Junkyard, yes its my high low switch. cuts down on the nonsensical wires I run one for ground, one for hot, and jump through the toggle for high beam. I dont have any controls. I eliminat all that shit. Make my own key switch housing down behind the far (L) carb filter. again limits wires. got rid of all the electric start stuff, since the bike had a kicker. again, limits wires. Damn sure a sight easier to kick than my shovel.
