Supposedly it is similar to a honda rebel maybe I can use some of those r
parts I need to rebuild the carb and find the gaskets

Some fuckin warrior poet on here said it best, and I paraphrase: 'You can build an awesome bike out of just about anything with a sawzall and an angle grinder', to which I'll add a welding aparatus...

True. That's how people end up havin to sell their "boober" on CL in pieces for 400obo. "Stupid welders.......costin more than my bike" (grumble grumble). Keep it simple, and don't get in over your head. Plan ahead and (like you are now) do your research. That way you don't get you bike into an unrideable condition and realize your stick welder can't weld aluminum or somethin crazy that'll cost you more than you can afford and not be able to sell a bike in pieces that you can't buy parts for. Just be careful is all I'm sayin. There's a reason sportsters are so popular.
