    to adjust float level?

    take the bowl off and raise the float to max height, if its above the overflow tube bend the float rod slightly until it sits just below the overflow tube. This is seriously the factory s&s procedure for adjusting float level.

    if your bike is running rough, change jets. s&s carbs are super easy to tune.

    and that float bowl screw on the bottom of the carb is to drain gas before you take the bowl off.
