03 Rewire Rear Brake Trouble

Anyone who can help? I rewired my bike and everything is working except for my rear brake light. I used the wiring diagram to try to determine where I am losing power but I cannot figure it out. My Rear Brake Switch has an orange/white and red/yellow wire. The Orange/white is hot the other is not. I tried testing the power at the Rear Brake Switch while depressing the brake and nothing. All I can think is when I chopped my hand controls off I broke the circuit that connects the wires at the Front Brake Switch. Any ideas on what I may be missing?

Its hard to pin point without knowing what you chopped, what diagram your looking at, and without having the bike in front of me. Have you tried jumping a hot wire to both switch wires to test it, are one of the fillaments burnt out on the bulb (common on 1157), did you wire your brake and taillight seperate? As much info as possible would help in a question like this.
