are those shocks eye to clevis? ebay specials? What's the length? I like your direction of this build so far, like the pizza pan wheel cover as well!

*edit to say I dig the kicker pedal also!

Rebel re pops will ride quite a bit better than those, and cost about the same money.

And the 11" shocks they sell at Dime City ride even better than the rebel re pops

And I'm with LDMC. I dig everything but the tank.

Man... I wish I could have kept mine. These bikes have some good lines for sure.

Dude, I'm digging the wheel covers. I've got an 82 cm450. I'd like to do the same. Could you post some pics of how you did it? How does it ride with them? Did you use the bolts from the wheel hub? Cheers

I don't really have any pics of how i did the wheels covers. But I can break it down for you.

First go buy a couple of pizza pans. In this case, they are 16" pans. Then cut out a hole in the dead centre to clear the hub. I had a friend who is a machinist cut a 6" hole out. You'll need the bevel that out about a 1/8" to make it fit perfectly to a CM hub.

Then you need to buy 10 self tapping screws. These bad boys are going to drill right into the Honda Comstar wheels. DO NOT take apart the wheel. You'll never get it back together with a pan on it.

Drill some pilate hole closer to the centre of the wheel, but with enough room for the drum brake to clean. Use a drill bit that is small then the self tappers. Then drill the same hole into the pizza pans that are the same size as the self tappers. Then mount 'em!

Thats about it! Paint them or leave then as is. I painted mine a hammer copper colour. You can buy solid pans or perforated.
