Don't Cha just hate when ya blow out a head gasket .. ??
Well, there is somewhat of a cure for that ...



By machining a .003" to .004" step onto the jug head gasket surfaces will net a bit more crush on a fire-ring head gasket ...
I call this "Poor Boys O-Ringing"

S&S has been making their Shovel cylinders like this for many years ..
And the way I got it figured, who better to copy from .. !!

These jugs are Oem 80 inch Shovel's from the first run of em ..

Low-Compression motors might be considered "Overkill"
