The headlight looks more like a Royaloilfield that they sold badged as Indian. Got any more pics of it?

Sadly i do not, im not even sure what year this would have been? My aunt sent me a bunch of family photos and this was one of em, im guessing early 60s but could be way off!

I don't see anything that would lead me to think it's post 1949

I think its a vertical because of the left gascap, the back of the speedo and housing, and those really wierd clutch and brake levers (stamped) they had. I do think the headlight doesnt look very motolampish, but might be because the body is chrome and distorts the image of the ring some. I think 52? was the last year of the vertical.

As for the photo of my great uncle on the indian, it was taken right around 1947 when he was 15 or 16 years old

Couple of pictures of bikes grandpas shop put out here in Cincinnati in the 70s. B & B cycle. I have many more i can dig out if anyone is interested

Oh hell yeah, when I first saw the Spring Grove and Vine I was mentally going down Spring Grove trying to figure out where they crossed, wondering if it was in Cincy. Now you say it is Cincinnati, I'd like to see all the pics, thanks.

yeah im not sure where on spring grove and vine cross exactly. Just going off what grandpa told me, i wasnt around till 1983. Ill pull out some more pictures. Grandpa mostly made the springers, they were modifying springers with twisted legs etc.
