I've my own drink called: "The usual" at my local.



"The Usual" for me... and now: "The Unsual" for others; Take a basic white Russian... toss out the vodka for: Malibu rum, then add a healthy splash of Disaronno or Amaretto(availability from the Fri-Sat weekenders vary) all given a nice, healthy, shake... in a pint with a coupla cubes and a 12oz can of Yoohoo on the side... that's always for starters; if I'm gonna be around a bit longer than a coupla hours? After stepping up the block to pick some food? I'll mix it up with either; a 12 year Glenmorangie with a side sipper of sprite... Sapporo if I'm in a beer mood(rarely), or whatever red wine available.

I've a veritable iron gut for alcohol, it all enters... and none of it leaves. It usually takes; all of that shit above combined, to catch a slight buzz. I don't drink at home... unless; I have a guest and you know how we'ed do it... I save that for a back @ home somewhere too.

I've seen lots of different stuff put in it to soften it up, but if the guy that's making it knows what he's doing it can be real pure, and real smooth. I used to be a moonshiner myself until I reached the point of having too much to lose so I gave my still away. The secret to really good moonshine is to make at least 3 passes through the still with it washing out the still and mixing what comes out with equal parts spring water before you run it through again. The trick is in where to make the head cut and the tail cut, that's what can make it nasty, being too greedy and squeezing too much out of a batch of mash. There's only som much good whiskey per gallon of mash, but plenty of nasty.

I just re read that and wanted to say that what I'm mixing with spring water and re running is what comes out of the worm. The x's on the jug used to be to note how many times it's been through a still.

I quit drinking when I turned 21(seems that I used to do some pretty fucked up shit, when I'd get fucked up, and I'd not remember doing it, what it was, or where it happened)
Shot: I don't drink like this nowdays
Mixed: Screwdriver(Grey Goose & Tropicana Pure Premium), Margarita (Patron Silver) 1-2x a year, and then its usually a 2 drink limit, (because I know when I get fucked up, I do fucked up shit).
Beer: I really don't drink beer regularly, maybe 3-4x a year, then it's usually High Life, though I might splurge on a seasonal local micro brew.
