At first $85 sounds a little steep, say that dude can complete one every four hours + cost of dye and leather, really not a bad price. Considering my current belt has lasted 10 years and these are more of a limited item, if I had the spare bread I'd get one.

I understand all that and I also understand paying for the craftsmanship but $85 fucking dollars for one belt? I've made my own custom leather belt before and after the on time fee for buying the stamps and buying the dyes and belt it was still way less then $85 bucks. You gotta remember that the dye is used for more then one belt and the stamps are payed for after one belt. Thats alot of profite for a belt. They are fucking awsome belts and I can appreciate the work put into them and can understand 50 bucks for them maybe but not 85.

I guess it's a limited collector art thing. People are paying a lot more than $85 to have some lunatic give themselves a paint enima and shit on canvas.
I don't know what you guys make per hour but I would have to complete one belt every 3 hrs to even consider doing it. Time is money and that dude has to eat too, and I doubt we'll see him rolling a Maybach after these belts are sold.
