Put new tubes on last night, gettin closer to the look I want. Still lots to do

This was from last night when we rolled it off the lift:

It's been raining since last night, and her maiden voyage was soaking wet. I rode a little this morning and couldn't help snapping these:

              Thanks!

Smith Bros and Fetrow struts with a stock sporty fender that I trimmed up.

Man I love the geometry of the older ironhead frames! I wish the evos rear end looked like that. Crib motorcycles does some cool Sporty chops that moves the seat loop and shock placements and they look killer.

Yep, anything after 79 is unfortunate.

I'd say anything after 78 is a turn to a different direction. 79 is when the new frame design really happened and it evolved from there.

I feel the same. And Crib is one of my favorite builders.

I have the same 35 mm 74 to 77 front end how does that caliper work?

                          Is yours 8 over?

                            It works decent enough.

Nice man. Those have any give? I tried solid struts and couldn't do it. Still rockin the shorty shocks.
