Oil filler cap for Yamaha 185

I need to replace the oil filler cap on my Yamaha SR185. I find a lot of filler caps that look great, but they list the bikes they fit (which never include the 1982 SR185.) None of them give the dimensions. I've measured my broken cap as well as I'm able. Does anyone have a Japanese bike who would be willing take a quick look at the size(s) of their filler cap and tell me if mine matches?

* When I go to Ebay and type in "1981 Yamaha SR185 Exciter oil cap" I don't actually get any oil caps in the results, and ...

* I was hoping to have the option to buy a new, anodized cap for which I'd need to know if my cap is the same size as any other models.

Sorry the part was not there. Seems like you want a new anodized one anyway.
The Ebay part may have been sold or the ad ended. I checked on the 20th of April.
I would contact the seller of those anodized oil filler caps and see if they can help you.
Sometimes you have to travel down some weird tunnels to get to the cheese.

I found one! It was listed as for Yamaha YZ450FX; WR250F; 450F; 250R/X; SEROW225; and YFZ450. I've honestly lost track of how I decided that was the correct size but it showed up today and it fits! Yay!

Congratulations! Now you know some other models that share parts with your bike.
The Anodized blue filler cap looks nice too!
