        Split tanks look natural on a Knucklehead because they are.

        The main reason to run anything smaller on a big twin is to signal you're too Kool for fuel.

                Thanks, Bbqbiker and James69. As you can see, the pics were taken long ago (like 45 years.) The shortcoming to riding long distances on that set up was the vertical grips. You have to actually hold on to them and can't relax your hand. After a while your forearms start to cramp.
