The thunderheader seems to be pretty standard issue on every FXR or Dyna anymore, exactly why i didn't get one. I do know this about them - they work well, have a distinct sound, will scrape on the ground, and the brackets will break sooner or later. Nothing against them at all, just wanted something different that looked similar to my previous setup.Comment

NEW TIRES: Your Opinions Please
Well it's time to buy new tires. My rear tire's shot and I need to paint my wheels anyway. So my question is, what's your opinions on the best tire for aggressive cornering thru the canyons? I'm not looking for longevity of the tires, road grip is my first priority. Also with the stock 16"x3" HD Mag Wheel, can I use a 140 or 150 tire without rubbing the drive belt?
ThanksComment

89 FXR I just picked up. Lots of work to get this to where I want it. S&S 107 was the selling point. Lots of mixed matched parts on this one but all in all it was a good buyComment

That's highly rad.
just a little more pic whoring. Im thinking I may powder coat the lowers, trees and bars in gloss black sometime soon. Balance out with the back and make the shiny motor and exhaust really stand out.
