Not gonna happen. Make some risers out of aluminum and weld them up.

actually you can " weld " aluminum to steel , but it wouldnt be safe enough for risers ... and its a huge process and expensive . tig and oxy torch , bronze rod , b.t silver , er 1100 alum rod in a.c current ... aint worth the trouble really ...

and the percent of it actually holding the test of time and vibration? I would go with 10-15%

what size risers are you looking for? could you take a section of steel and weld some bungs in each side? maybe even put some bungs without thread (more of a spacer kinda thing) to keep the bolt straight, and then run the bolt up through the tubing to the risers. okay, so i'm not an engineer, but it sounds like it might work to me. you might wanna loctite the shit out of it.

gotta be better than jb weld...maybe duct tape would work?

pics soon

I will post some pics Tuesday of what I have and whatnot. Looked at maybe threading the bolt part of the clamps and using flat stock and making some sort of riser to weld to the round sock I have. But today is for the fallen, Semper Fi 1st Battalion 5th Marines!!! Never Forget!!
