Twin engine panther LSR bike

this has been a long time in the starting but its finally in the hands of a good frame builder getting the rolling chassis together ready for me to do my thing with it

im so happy at the minute - just got these pics an hour or 2 ago

briz at http://www.customcycledevelopments.com/ aswell as starting on a great looking frame has done me a good turn / sponsorship deal and is doing the frame out of chrome-moly at no extra cost

the general plan is a wing and a prayer i may be able to get this thing done and over there for bonneville 2012. theres a few people from here going over for 2012 and sharing a container to get the bike over there would save a pile of cash but it will be close i think but we will see.

this means no more bike trips over there for me till its done

I'm ignorant and need assistance. What kind of motor is that that you've got a double team of happening in this bad drag machine? I tried looking them up and I can't find anything decent about it, they look way too damn cool for me not to ask.

Sumo this may be a dumb question, but how does one get their hands on one of these bad boys? Is it just luck digging them out?

Also what's the price look like typically, I really dig singles, but can't do too much since it seems like these would be "vincent" type territory where all the bits and pieces are a fortune...

Just curious, they are some bad ass machines, and this build is amazing! I don't mean to take away from it at all, just amazed as I have never seen these before.

Edit, I found some info on the site, but it seems like the price would include a flight to England...haha

collected today - threw a coat of primer on it and then back together - the frame is cock on. on re-assemble everything just slotted together not bending or hammering or any other bullshit most custom stuff has to deal with

was happy before - even more happy now

mum and dad left a few hours ago, dad left the mag adapter he started for me on an adult size lathe - i finished things off on my little lathe - drops in dandy

im going to run 2 single fire mags but this one i had on the shelf to experiment with [ignore the lovely blue clutch spring holding mag up couple of holes need drilling and helicoiling]





also im looking at drive side measurements over a cider or 2 - looks like i have plenty of room to play with. about 2 1/2 inches by quick eyeball measurements

i only have another 1 after these 2 are done and the spare engine is built for it too. but panthers a relatively cheap engine - with prices over here you can get at least 4 panther engines in need of rebuild for the cost of 1 shovelhead engine in similar condition - i know which i prefer ha

i have a line on a couple more dotted around the country in peoples sheds under benches if i need em i suspect a deal could be struck. but the plan here is to have the panther trike, twin panther and the 1933 solo panther - that will be my stable settled down then

the twin is in the fun flurry of lobbing all the bits on that ive been hoarding for the past year or so, its fast at the minute. once the real work starts it will be steady away
