BMW Bobber

I wanted to build something other than a Harley for a change:

Don't get me wrong, I still love Harleys but it was fun doing something different!

It's nice to see something different. Rear fender is clean, paint looks great. Well done.

I remember seeing that bike in a magazine or online a while back. (That was weird, jinx Justin) Super impressive. Any more photos? I think those engines are very interesting. So much the opposite of a HD set up with all the enclosed components and such. It's shaft drive too, right?

Well I can tell yea from experience that your feet don't get cold and if they get wet they dry out quickly.
I own a 74 BMW r90 and after seeing these photos I was tempted to get the saws all out.

Verrrry nice beemer. Those have to be the easiest engines in the world to work on. You can do a top end job in about an hour and a half...... if you dick around . Beautiful chop...... looks like beemer fag heaven.

Nope, the heat doesn't bother your shins at all. Of course I always wear boots when I ride. On a fully faired BMW (either RS or RT) you can ride in the rain and not get wet....... as long as you are moving above 40 MPH......
