best spark plug wires to run on a mag?

So I just bought a joe hunt h4 magneto for my shovel build. Question is what's the best spark plug wires to run on a mag, I know you need to run copper core wire that aren't suppresion wires. I haven't had any luck finding a universal kit either all of them I've found r model specific. and another question this mag is automatic advance so shouldn't the cam lobe spring back on its own from advanced, it doesn't and I called hunt and they said it doesn't so if anyone could elaberate on how that works that'd b awesome.

Seems like the guys at Hunt would be the best for explaining that.

I use 7mm cloth covered wire. It's solid core. Any antique tractor shop will sell it. Or you can get standard black vinyl covered 7mm wire at any farm n fleet / tractor supply type store. It's in a kit, so you can make your own lengths

I use to use tractor supply plug wires, you could get a bock with enough to do 3 bikes for $15 bucks, but just last month I used the same wires (same brand same place I normally buy them) and found out they changed the material the covering is made of.. cause it melted right the fuck off..

Basically any SOLID core wire is what you want.. You might try the tractor shop, I may have just got a bad batch on these plug wires... prior to that I had been using them for years.

not all solid core is the same, alot of it is aluminum core cuz its cheap. standard ign. among others still have copper solid core , much better in the long run.
