Computer Mapping for '11 XL1200 Sporty?

I just bought a new stage 1 air cleaner for my sportster, its a '11 48 Sportster... Anyone has any experience with the connection and mapping process? The dealership quoted an arm and a leg to hook it up and I'd rather learn myself. Help is much appreciated.

what joey says is true, if you just installed the a/c you don't have to re-map. if you installed pipes along with the a/c, you'll need to remap. this will have to be done thru the digital tech at your local HD dealer. The only way around it to buy a power commander, race tuner or some other tuning device. FYI those devices cost WAY more than what the download will cost. You'll have to suck it up and get the download. It's the price you pay for owning an EFI sporty.
