Lurker checking in

Whats up guys, I have been lurking quietly for a little while now, but figured I might as well post a pic or two to show my little "chop". It's not near as nice as some of the ones on here but it's my almost daily commuter and I love riding it so that's all that matters! Still have a bunch of things that I would like to do such as new exhaust, sissy bar, 1250cc kit and list goes on and on but anyway heres my mistress as my Wife calls it. Let me know what ya think, any suggestions or what have you.

The day I bought it.

As of recently.

And a few that I like.

This was before some powder coating but like the back drop.

looks fine to me. Lower it a tad, and dont let anyone talk you into blacking out that chrome. Swap out those forwards foe mids. Unless your super tall, you will like them better than forwards.

I dig the Vrod wheel, I always wondered if those would fit.

Lookin good, although I wouldn't call it a "chop". The rear wheel is pretty nifty. I just can't get use to those stock tank lift kits though. The lines are just wrong.

Ditch the mirrors, signals, switches, extra stuff and chop that shit! Most importantly, just have fun with it.

Thanks, its actually a Deuce wheel which allows you to run a 170 rear without any real mods to the bike.

I actually just cut it out with a Dremel tool, wasn't to bad, wanted to remove it but didnt like the lines and wasn't ready to remove the cam cover since I didnt want to give up any ride time. Thanks I am in the Coast Guard but its not China man's hat but close. Pic was taken next to bellows beach park.

I agree with the tank lift thing, I plan on doing a true frisco when I hardtail it but for now it works to hide all the damn wires on these bikes. Would love to ditch all the extra crap but DMV laws here are a royal pain in the ass, requires safety check every year to the point where you if you don't have "DOT" on your turn signal lens' they fail you.

Thanks guys, keep it coming. Just making me want to speed up other projects!
