Harley techs help!!!

Well I'm just finishing up my build(I have a 97 1200) and I got everything buttoned up. I go to start the motor and she's hesitating a lot. Shes cranking a couple times then coughs a bit and back fires every now and then. The frot cylinder smokes a bit when it does that. It's white smoke. it also makes a wired noise from the cylinder could be cause of whats going on but not positive. I'm not sure what's going on and need help really bad.
