Hey Jim,
Yeah back in the day mini's did alright on the track, well on a track with some turns in it anyway.
When I got this one it had a worked motor but an average body. Fixed the body up and now I have a nice little ride. I would like to get some pin striping on the bonnet. Something subtle in burgandy I think. Next person to say " how do you fit in that thing" or "it looks like a hearse for a midget" is going to get a piece of my mind

Got me a '66 Ford Econoline Supervan that my pops hooked me up with years ago and it's a good reminder of him now that he's gone. Was his mechanic work van, now it's dropped with a front leaf spring flip kit. Later.

Picked this up yesterday for $1100.

The only shiny parts on the whole van are the exhaust tips.

It looks better with some decent tires/wheels on it.

My old van, '64 Dodge 8-door. Daily drove this thing for two years, went all over with it. Great for camping too. High maintenance though, got stranded on the side of the road more than once.

Sold it a few years back, still get the urge to look for a new one from time to time.

I just picked this up today. 73 Econoline. 302, with a 3 on the tree. Shifting is wonky as hell, linkage is screwy, but in general it runs good. The shag interior and wood panelling are probably on the way out though. Plans call for a fresh coat of wax on the classic lace/panel job and clean the slot mags up. Maybe a little rake, new raised white letter tires, side pipes, and bike tie downs in the back. Stoked.
