My modern "old school" bike

I lurk here mostly because I'm timid about posting what I did to my modern bike - you guys all have true old schools, but I didn't have an old bike, so I took my new bike and gave it a makeover. This was a 2010 Iron (sporty), and say what you will, I think it looks killer. Paint was done by Scott @ Backstreet Buckets (before they were Chemical Candy). Bars by Steffan, Front end by Brian @ Kundratic Kustoms in Baltimore. I'm loving it. I told Scott what colors I was looking for and what kind of look, then let him do whatever he wanted. Brian and I talked a lot about how tall the bike should be and what kind of rake it should have, then since he knows WAY more about it, I went with his advice. I had Steffan build me two sets of bars bc I would have killed myself with the first pair. I'll take comments either way. On my first weekend with the bike I entered it in a show with a local MC and took home third. Totally shocked, but stoked.

my project currently still in progress

99m2 cyclone originally built by ardcore choppers. I bought it pretty close to original from the first owner. and have been modifying by myself with a little help from some friends to to be more daily rideable. bigger brake and bracket hand made filed and cut to fit also machined new wheels spacers out of tool steel, carb work, bars and seat and a new taillight since the one it had would drag and catch and snap bolts and wasn't wired in to light up when i hit the brakes. switched it back to mid controls cause I'm a short fucker, longer fork legs because I hate bottoming out on everything and dragging controls around corners. putting a king and queen on for the old lady since its our only wheels.

practicality rules! wanna do a few more things to it yet ride the shit out of it then crate it up and drag it overseas to Finland where I will be living permanently in a few months.
let me know what you think feedback is always welcome.

if anyone on here is in Finland near Lahti or anywhere in scandinavia, hit me up ill be looking for some like minded bros to ride and chop with!

If I had that bike, there'd be paint worn off the tank from the boner I'd have every time I rode it.

02 sporty

Just finished up about a week ago. Powdercoat and paint can wait. Excuse the fucked up plug wires. They have been replaced.
