my show and shine is cancelled

i was going to hold a show and shine for cystic fibrosis in july only to find out that the bar's lease is done at the end of june. the bar has been leased by 'regulars" that drank at the bar for as many years as i have (35+) only to tell me that they want to make it a restaurant and they will honor this years show, but i have to look for a new venue because they dont want bikers as clients.

they are people i have drank with, ate with and drove them home when they couldnt see 2 inches in front of them.

That's a BAD IDEA.

This is what usually happens on a Friday night, through till Sunday morning...

that sucks man. i liked the idea of writing to the paper about it. either that or you could beat.. i mean talk some sense into them.

the paper thing is interesting, but you cant talk sense to a bunch of drunks. right across the street from thier establishment is a restaurant that opened last year that isnt making any money.

i just wish i had of known 3 months ago to give me some time to re-organize, but its too close to the date to try and find the same set up when i am putting in stupid hours at work.

Then hurry up with the newspapers, man. Add your mail adress (a new one 'cause brace yourself, some spam will be coming) and the info that you're looking for a new place for the show and shine.
Some bar owners might like the idea and the good advertisment that is coming along with it.
