Haven't been able to get much done because it's been raining all week. Worked on the framework for the floor today, with 5 1/2 " of chop and a 5" channel it's pretty fucking tight on the inside.

Whats going to keep your springs from sliding back and forth, that's a lot of faith in four u bolts? my only other concern would be the durability of the c frame when you rump on that motor. Your chop turned out pretty good!

I'm just using the u bolts to hold the front end together while I work on everything else, I'm going to to something more before I get it on the road.

I wanted to use bomber seats but they are sooo fucking expensive, anywhere from $300 - $750 for a pair so I'm going to try and make a pair. I got 3/4 of a sheet of 16ga for $30 and used that.

Getting the master cylinder in was a bitch! Had to pull the steering column out and the body off the frame so I could drill a hole in the frame. Put it all back together and now it's all good.

I'm the lucky stiff that bought the truck from Mr RandonMayhem way back when. This was the only build I was following, I thought it was down in Corvallis and then it showed up on CL. Gonna try to document the build here. Can't say that I will be as motivated (it's been 5 months...), or as skilled, but looking forward to everyone correcting me of my opinions - that's what the net's good for - and helping out.

Gonna start the thread now...
