I took a picture of the wheel for you today. Ive got this side looking pretty good and the other side all sanded. Just need to polish the other side and do a little touch up work to it. Then its on the the rear wheel! Doing other small projects during the loss of wheel motivation.

G'damn!! That looks incredible!

Did you just sand sand sand and hit it up with some aluminum polish?

Crazy fab in the rear end. I'm not quite sure how I feel about the visual part though, it's like ALMOST a hard tail with the back bone angle then hits the shocks and is an abrupt angle change. It might grow on me though! I can appreciate the amount of work that went into doing it and applaud your conviction to do it!

What exhaust is that? I've seen it on a few bikes and really like the drag bike quality of it.

Turned out just like I wanted. I wanted a hardtail & my back wanted shocks. I made the pipe. Thanks...

I got rid of the stock downtubes made the oil tank and battery tray under the swingarm & a bunch of other crap.

Im at the stage of wire, fire and ride and it will be done. Well they are never really done and I never did a build thread for it so heres a photo dump of where my '03 Sportster is at...

Day one...

Day 10ish. Didnt take long to be tired of this...

Soooo out came the sawsall...

Then some small details...

Im almost done boring you now...

Hi there

I have read the article on this bike in the September Horse edition. Congratulations this bike is truly unique. I am new to this forum but I can already see i will be a frequent participant. I just finish building my second sportster I will be posting some pics very soon. I am now looking at a third project and I must say your bike has inspired me. I love what you did to the frame and I would love to pick your brain as I am very new to bike building. Gear case cover is out of this world, did you modify it or was it Chopper Dave in Long beach?
