Fuck that, it was fun to do but I'm going to Baja next time I take a week off to ride. I want fish tacos and cold beer after a swim in the Sea of Cortez. I may go back to DV in the winter with a truck or dirt bike, I'd like to explore the off road stuff there even more.

And yep, we rode right by the plant in Olancha, but I didn't plan that.

I hate you all for having such a great time. I'm really hoping I can enjoy some greatness in the future. This looks like it was just my last minute style. I hope to see Bill and the Biltwell crew this summer,, and Jeffo, Shannon and the rest of he bad mother fuckers from Vegas. I'v got no place in SoCal, but in NorCal my shack and garage is better, along with the roads.

Jeffo I'm really going to try. I promoted at work and am in the middle of a transfer to try and get closer to home. 600 miles one way for a commute is getting old, and the bike is racking up some serious miles on shitty roads.

Larry you would totally dig DV. Wildrose Campground sits at about 4000' elevation and is free. It takes about an hour to get to the nearest store in Stovepipe Wells. If you go up through Trona, you can get supplies in Ridgecrest before you go in, and not pay crazy prices. I went in 2005 about a week after a hundred year storm blew through. Got to see Lake Badwater that didn't last too long at all.
