I scored some 39mm narrow trees.. I have to get them milled to accept 41mm forks. Does anyone know if anyone is still making those bushing that Noodelz used to make for the top of the forks?

Anyways... Here are some comparison shots!

Yea, I saw on JJ that Noodelz fabbed some up. Do you have a source. Otherwise, I could just clamp them high I have the extra length, but it wouldn't look very good.

i'd run those fat bob tanks but have them narrowed. that other tank looks silly to me. but this is just my opinion and its your bike so you can do whatever you want to it.

Got Mike from Old-Stf to take care of the trees.

Thanks for your opinion Bob, but I think I will stick with the small tank.

Thanks to MercuryMoto who used written measurements and imaginations to construct my tank. He did an amazing job. If anyone needs fab work done I highly recommend him. Here are some pics:

Thanks Spade. There are two choices of which direction I am going with the paint. 1st is a secret. The 2nd is getting someone to paint it back to stock with all the original lettering, etc....

Around this time of the year I get really itchy to have a scoot to motor around on. Sell the build and get an old Sportster... Sorry just a little self pity... It always happens when I see other bikers roll by.

So I decided to get the trees mocked up. I want to thank Mike from Old-Stf for the work on the trees. I really dig the 41mm on the narrow trees. Here are some pics...

Now, here is the question, what wheel can I use? There is 5.5 inches between the forks. I would still like to run a front brake. Any suggestions?

oh yeah!!! that looks awesome!

what size wheel do you want? you can probably still run a 16 but youd need a thinner tire. say if you went with a firestone, you can fit a 4.00 in there. all you need to do is get a narrow glide sporty hub and lace it to whatever rim you wanna run. the spacers on a NG front end are pretty small but you might be able to get away with it. if i remember correctly, the brake side spacer is longer but the other side spacer is pretty thin. maybe around 3/16" long. just try to fit a hub in there. im sure you can have a bracket made to hold an aftermarket caliper.

**this info is based off memory, so dont go buying a bunch of stuff before some more research!**
