You do realize that slavery was abolished not that long ago right? There are literally people that are still alive that were/either slave owners or slaves.
I could give a shit about the way the media is hanging on to this topic and twisting it all up for entertainment purposes but to go ahead and wash slavery as something that happened so long ago isn't factual.
Look up the actual date slavery ended in the US, not when the so-called abolishment of slaves happened.
I don't condone anyone playing the handout card regardless of race, because there are plenty of white people all over the country getting fat of welfare talking shit about other people taking things from them so they can't get ahead in life and its complete and utter bullshit. You ever think of things the other way around and think that blacks/Mexicans get spooked when they see a white person and hope that the fucker isn't a super bigot thats just going to fuck with them....
works both ways
Bud, just curious, where do you get your information? Are you talking debt slaves and chain gangs? Alot of poor white trash on that line as well.

a stoned 17 year old kid is not very likely to attack a grown man with 60 pounds on him. of course this is my opinion, but its based on logic and reason. unlike the idea that he was hopped up on weed and looking to pick a fight, which is taking the fact that his mental state was altered and assuming that 'altered' automatically means violent, which is certainly does not.
No, it's not just my opinion. Unless you believe that the medical examiners office is in on the "cover up" also. Click on the link.

having a high probability of occurring or being true : very probable
While not "likely", certainly "possible." You can look up that definition yourself. Also refer to my comment reference theory and fact.
It's funny how when most people that don't know the facts, don't understand the law, have no concept of things like legislative intent, make a decision on right and wrong based on personal feelings, likes and dislikes, they hold tight to those decisions. Then when gradually presented with evidence they refuse to change their minds simply because they refuse to admit they could have been wrong. That their opinions were baseless.
We will not know beyond a reasonable doubt what happened that night until the case goes to trial - if it goes to trial. And whether it does or doesn't, we may never know WHY it happened. What we will know through application of the law is that right is right, wrong is wrong and right can never be wrong. The reverse is also true. Oh, and we may also learn a little bit about what was likely and what is possible. Until then I guess you'll just have to man the railings and repel boarders.

your opinion is that smoking weed proves he attacked the dude.
that is not fact and that is not what the medical examiner said.
ME said he had weed in his system. that is a fact. that is the only fact. if presented in court that fact alone would not prove probably cause.
we will probably never know the facts of what happened that night, we'll know the arguments both sides make and we'll know what the jury decides to believe. that does not mean it's 'right'. justice is often wrong it seems.
I'm more than happy to admit that I'm wrong because i don't know that I'm right, i just know that with the facts i have before me it seems unlikely that this kid needed to die.

The way our justice system is set up, it favors the defendant. Obviously there are exceptions to the rule... But if there's not a clear and concise witnessed crime, it will favor the defendant.
Look at Casey Anthony. That murdering fucking cunt walked. That bitch was guilty as OJ Simpson.
I really don't know how this verdict is going to shake out.
But what I do know, is that even though I'm 3,000 miles away. There's a possibility of extreme rioting here if George walks.
The day the verdict is read, I will have all my 30 round mags loaded for my AR. And my 1911 will be on my hip. I work in north Long Beach. There's a high level of sketchiness on normal days.

The cops told Zimmerman not to follow the kid, he followed him anyway, the kid kicked the shit out of the stalker, Zimmerman found himself in over his troublemaking ass and killed the kid because he's too much of a fuckin pussy who couldn't take his self-inflicted asswhipping like a man.
You go out looking for trouble, most of the time you find it. Now someone's dead and he's looking at a murder charge because he couldn't mind his own fucking business...regardless of race.
Fucking shame that we still have to look over our neighbor's fences and peek into their windows.

Not sure about other parts.....But Los Angeles used to have lots of Racism between Blacks & Whites.........
Now it is Blacks vs. Hispanics, Sure the White hatred is still there, But there is a war going on in many Hoods,
where the Hispanics are taking over previously Black neighborhoods.
& Personally .....I take it as a compliment
if a black calls Me a whitey or white boy.,

the outrage here isn't that the kid was killed, it was why it happened in the first place.
theres no question that if trayvon was white, dude never would have questioned him.
he did so only because he was a black kid in a hoodie. sure, i suppose that can look intimidating... just as it can look intimidating if a greasy biker is wearing a cut. does that mean you can automatically assume he's up to no good? you can, and most would, but that doesn't make it true.
even if there was an altercation. even if trayvon attacked the dude, the whole thing would have been avoided if zimmerman would have not confronted him in the first place, as the police instructed him NOT to do. that is why people are outraged, because they realize it could have just as easily been them. maybe the shooting was self defense, but the altercation was provoked by zimmerman.
imagine you're walking home and someone starts questioning you about where you're going and what you're doing there. as much as we glorify 1%ers and respect and shit... you think any of us are going to take kindly to some neighborhood watchman calling you out? i never start shit with anyone, I'm super mellow, but when i feel like someone is singling me out and disrespecting me, i don't respond kindly. no one should have to.
its a shitty case because its likely that neither were 'right' in the case, which means there is no real justice to be had. i can't say i blame black folks for being pissed about this. a biker gets run off the road by a careless driver and we want them all hung. a black kid gets killed for being black..... if i was black i'd be pretty pissed too.

Arby, Medical Examiner A.K.A. Coroner's Office have been guilty of corruption before. There' been cases where the coroner has altered a report to cover up a cops fuck up. Case in point, Kelly Thomas. Coroner's Office initial report stated it was a heart issue that caused him to die, ignoring the fact that he was bludgeoned repeatedly with over 700 pounds on top of him while on the ground face down causing restriction of airflow

Don't attempt to use logic with Arby. He's a die-hard bigot and racist, and he believes whatever Fox News tells him is real life.

Dude.
I'm pretty centered on this topic. Not that it's relevant... But the kid was suspended for smoking weed in school weeks prior.
It's not much of a stretch to concur with the medical examiner if THC was found in his system.
I'm also not a fan of conspiracies unless you have some proof. The kid may have been high. It's not relevant. It may not even be admissable in court, it's that "not relevant".

With the amount of THC he had in his system, he would have been legally able to operate a motor vehicle in at least 1 state. He had a fair amount of THC metabolite in his body, which means his body was in the process of breaking down the THC. He had a relatively low amount of active THC in his body.
Sounds to me like he got baked the day before, or maybe that morning.

Exactly. He wasn't high at the time. Thus not necessarily "mellowed out" from the purple sticky punch.

if you don't know that in pockets in the deep south there was still slavery existing up until the 60 you're either ill informed or haven't done enough research.
I'm not talking about chain gangs or any of that shit. I'm talking about people owning people.
To say it happened so long ago is a farce. I'm not saying its your duty to take accountability for it, but maybe understand that its not that some long ago thing....
And who gives a fuck how people pronounce things? How is that shit even relevant. There is alot of hate in this thread masked blanketed as other bullshit. Its sad and tiring to read
